چکیده
A Safety Science focus on research in the science and technology of human industrial safety. Critical Infrastructures (CIs), as a crucial part urban technological systems, are highly correlated with safety management terms their resilience when cities facing crisis or disaster. According to many studies, indicator-based assessment has been used frequently manage CIs recent decades. Defining characterising indicators can be useful for managers safety, it could help monitor improve capacities performance CIs. In years, critical infrastructures (CIs) have damaged increasing frequency (and will so future) following natural disasters. CIs, such buildings, transportation networks power play an indispensable role our society due importance maintaining societal functions, economic organisation national defence. Therefore, popularity “critical infrastructure resilience” exploded both academic policy discourses. Indicator-based is convenient common tool understand, analyse CI scientific field. This paper produces state-of-the-art review existing resilience. After terminology presentation, which helps clarify objective this study, show: 1) two methods selecting current papers applying assess resilience; 2) analysis these based study objective. The results show that there they do not uniform standard system, means indicator system must established.

Need for Resilience in Critical Interdependent Infrastructures
Defining Resilience Resilience has emerged in the last decade as a concept for better understanding the performance of infrastructures, especially their behaviour during and after the occurrence of disturbances, e.g. natural hazards or technical failures. Recently, resilience has grown as a proactive approach to enhance the ability of infrastructures to prevent damage before disturbance events,...
متن کاملUse of indicators for assessing resilience of critical infrastructures
The overall resilience of modern societies is largely determined by and dependent on resilience of their critical infrastructures such as energy grids, transportation systems, governmental bodies or water supply. This is clearly recognized by the European Union in its policies and research agenda, such as the DRS actions and projects (DRS: Disaster-Resilience: safeguarding and securing society,...
متن کاملIndicator-based water sustainability assessment - a review.
In the past few decades, there have been extensive efforts on measuring sustainability. One example is the development of assessment tools based on sustainability indicators. Several individuals and organisations have suggested various indices for assessing sustainability. This paper focuses on the review of water sustainability assessment using the indicator-based approach. It discusses major ...
متن کاملVulnerability Assessment of Critical Infrastructures
The welfare and security of modern nations rely on the continuous production and distribution of a number of essential goods (e.g. water, energy, data), and services (e.g. banking, health care), by large scale, man-made, networked systems, called infrastructures, mostly spanning long distances, and privately owned or operated. Such infrastructures are termed critical, as any incapacity or destr...
متن کاملAssessing Dependability and Resilience in Critical Infrastructures: Challenges and Opportunities
Critical infrastructures (CI) are very complex and highly interdependent systems, networks and assets that provide essential services in our daily life. Most CI are either built upon or monitored and controlled by vulnerable information and communication technology (ICT) systems. Critical infrastructures are highly interconnected systems and often use common ICT components and networks. Therefo...
